The sudden news of the passing away of Sridevi has left her family and the country in a state of shock. Sridevi passed away on the 25th February 2018, at the age of 54. According to reports, she expired late in the night due to a cardiac arrest in Dubai. She was in the United Arab Emirates along with her Husband, Boney Kapoor and daughter, Khushi Kapoor to attend her nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding with Antara Motiwala. According to reports, she stayed back in Dubai after the wedding, as she had to attend the auction of her paintings while her husband and daughter returned back to India.

Ever since the news of Sridevi passing away had broken the entire tinsel town has been expressing grief over this humongous loss. And rightly so, the Bollywood actress Sridevi, star of films like Mr India, Chaalbaaz, Chandni, and Lamhe, was widely considered one of Indian cinema’s finest leading ladies. Sridevi, who had been working in the movies for nearly five decades, received six Filmfare Awards over the years, and in 2013 was honoured with the Padma Shri by the Government of India.

The feeling of Sridevi passing away is yet to sink in the hearts of the people. No one could see this coming, she looked all hale and hearty during her nephew’s wedding but as fate has it she suffered a cardiac arrest and was found lying motionless in the bath tub of her hotel room. No one could have predicted that she won’t be able to see watch her daughter Janhvi Kapoor making her debut on the big screen but such is life, too short and unpredictable. As the nation continues mourning this irrecoverable loss, Jacqueline Fernandez decided to give a musical tribute to the Late Sridevi. As she posted a video of her playing a piano along with caption saying, “Today has been a daze for me.. so many things to digest.. she went too soon.. I was always an admiring fan to her, she was always so gracious and kind to me.. her passing has taught me something… life is so short and so fragile, every moment counts, this is not a rehearsal.. there will never be anyone like her.. RIP #sridevi” Here, check out the video below:
